I have created a book that has pages. I am trying to print it using bookfold style with 16 pages per signature. My printer is capable of manual two sided print. I am trying to print two-up per side. Not only does the printer not stop at 16 pages, ask me to remove the printed pages and re-insert, it prints all pages 2-up but they do not follow normal signature order.

The first 16 are okay, but then it looses its mind. I've tried printing 16 pages at a time, but then I loose my page numbers on the bottom of each page. Also, the only way I can print the 16 pages it won't let me choose the pages I want to print, but wants to print the whole document is to highlight the first 16 pages and then print.

In the Print dialog of Adobe Reader, you can select Booklet printing and specify the pages to print. This would allow you to print individual signatures.
